Children in northwest Syria are facing catastrophic conditions, ranging from violence to destruction. Many of these children have witnessed the death of family members, experienced multiple displacements, or suffered from family separation. They are forced to adapt to limited access to life-saving services, as well as the absence of regular school activities and daily childhood routines, which are unavailable to all children.
These children are increasingly exposed to risks such as arrest, early marriage, detention, torture, and sexual abuse, in addition to the harsh living environment in internally displaced persons’ camps. All these factors significantly contribute to their psychological trauma and distress.
Despite all these challenges, the protection team at MِASAR for Humanıtarıan and Development Organization has been working tirelessly to alleviate these difficulties. by providıng recreational activities for children and conduct psychological and social support sessions. Furthermore, MASAR HD is providing essential first aid services, aiming to mitigate social and psychological shocks among children and positively impact their growth, well-being, and safety
